LOCATION:  These 6 scattered tracts of hunting and timber land are located in the Kiamichi Mountains of Southeastern Oklahoma in LeFlore County.  Some of these parcels of land actually adjoin the 1.5 million acre Ouachita National Forest which runs from nearTalihina, Okla to Hot Springs, Ark.  These mountains are characterized by heavily wooded and rolling mountains with narrow creek and river valleys between the mountains.  Dallas is about 4 hrs.  Oklahoma City is about 3 hrs.  Tulsa is about 2 hrs.  Little Rock is about 2.5 hrs. Parcel #140 Acres – SW1/4  SE1/4 Section 22, Township 2N, Range 26E 

Parcel #1 is located on the North side of the Kiamichi Mountain range and is surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest.  There is approximately 300 feet of elevation change between the North and South property lines.  This parcel is completely covered with mature hardwood timber most of which are White Oak trees.  There is an existing US Forest Service road about ¼ mile Northeast of the property.

Parcel #258 Acres – Lays South of Forest Service Road Section 22, Township 2N, Range 26E

Parcel #2 is located on the South side of the Kiamichi Mountain Range and adjoins the Ouachita National Forest on two sides and connects to Parcel #3 at the SW property corner.  There is approximately a 350 feet change in elevation between the North and South property lines.  This parcel is completely covered in hardwood timber that in native to South-eastern Oklahoma.  This parcel fronts K-trail for approximately 1500 feet on the North side.  There is an existing logging road from K-trail through Parcel #2 and Parcel #3.

Parcel #3160 Acres – NW1/4  Section 32, Township 2N, Range 26E

Parcel #3 is located on the South side of the Kiamichi Mountain Range and adjoins the Ouachita National Forest on three sides and connects to Parcel #2 on the NE property corner.  There is approximately 400 feet of elevation change between the North and South property lines.  This parcel is completely covered with mature hardwood timber mainly consisting of white oak.  This property can be accessed from a US forest service road (K-trail) by using a road that crosses through Parcel #2.

Parcel #4160 Acres – NW1/4  Section 28, Township 2N, Range 27E

Parcel #4 is located on the North side of the Kiamichi Mountain Range and is completely surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest.  Terrain varies from gently sloping on the North half of the property to fairly steep over the South half.  Approximately 25 acres were cleared in 2010 with the remaining acreage containing mature native hardwood timber.  This property can be access from the North by traveling across an existing US Forest Service road.      

Parcel #5917.67 Acres – SE1/4 Section 32, Township 2N, Range 27E AND All of Section 33, Township 2N, Range 27E AND Lots 3 and 4 and W1/2 SW Section 34, Township 2N, Range 27E

Parcel #5 is located on the South side of the Kiamichi Mountain Range and is completely surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest.  Property terrain varies from flat to gently sloping to moderately steep.  There are several gently sloping ridges that run across the property and down the side of Kiamichi Mountain with draws in between the ridges.  Most of the marketable timber was harvested off the ridges approximately 10 years ago but was not harvested in the areas between the ridges.  This property can be accessed by traveling across a US Forest Service road that runs along the North side of the property.  There is a network of logging roads that run through the property, which could be used to access all parts of the property.

Parcel #6 –  160 Acres – SW1/4  Section 6, Township 2N, Range 27E

Parcel #6 is located on the South side of Rich Mountain and is completely surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest.  Terrain varies from gently sloping to moderately steep.  There is a nice ridge that runs through the property that is covered with a mixture of mature native shortleaf pine and hardwoods that are native to South East Oklahoma.  There currently is not an access road to this parcel but one could possibly be constructed across Forest Service with an access permit.  The property lays approximately 2000 feet south of the Talimena Scenic Drive (Hwy 1) and there is a US Forest Service road that is approximately 1650 feet from the West property line.

Parcel #740 Acres – SE1/4  SE1/4  Section 32, Township 4N, Range 23E

Parcel #7 is located on the South side of Winding Stair Mountain and borders the Ouachita National Forest on 2 sides.  Terrain is moderately steep with a couple of nice ridges running through the property.  This Parcel is completely covered with a mixture of mature native shortleaf pine and hardwood timber that is native to the area.  There is currently not an access road to this parcel but one could possibly be constructed across Forest Service with an access permit.  The property lays approximately 2100 feet South of the Talimena Scenic Drive (Hwy 1) and there is also a US Forest Service road that is approximately 2000 feet from the East property line.

TAXES:  About $1,200 per year.
