Description

Mountain Property for Sale

Sitting in the Bull Mountains of Montana, this property has amazing views all around.  The home is a 2 bed, 2 bath house with an attached oversized single car garage.  The current owner bought the property from a forclosure auction.  The bank winterized the property, and it has been vacant since that time.  Renovate the house and enjoy affordable Montana living, or tear it down and build your dream home.

Equine Property

Bring your horses, or other livestock for that matter.  This 23+ acre parcel is partially fenced and ready for your animals.  There is a good mixture of grass and wooded areas for your horses to roam and graze.  There appears to be a second well on the property for livestock, further investigation by the buyer is required.

Roundup Montana

Roundup Montana is small town, Montana Country living at its finest with a population of around 1900 people, yet only an hour from Billings, Montana's biggest city.  Roundup, named as a place ranchers would “round up” their cattle going back to the 1800' and is now the county seat of Musselshell County.  The local economy has traditionally consisted of cattle ranching, farming/agriculture, coal mining, oil and gas and rail road service.  Roundup is a hub in Amazon.com's supply chain as well.

Independence day is celebrated over 3 days with activities for the whole family including a parade, live music, rodeos, livestock shows, a carnival, and a 4th of July fireworks show.

Roundup sits near the Bull Mountains, and is a great place for those that love the outdoors.  Hunter's can bag elk, white tail and mule deer, and upland game as well.  Fishermen can catch trout, catfish, and bass on the Musselshell river.

Billings Montana

With a population nearing 200,000 the Billings Metro area is by far the biggest city in Montana.  It was founded in 1882 as a railroad town and named after Frederick H. Billings, a former president of the Northern Pacific Railroad and was quickly named the “Magic City”  because of its rapid growth.  Billings is still seeing Rapid growth 140 years later, as areas of Billings have the largest growth rate of any community in Montana.  to this day, Billings remains a rail road town at heart.

Billings is host to many conventions, sporting events, concerts, rallies, and much more.  Area attractions include Pompey's Pillar, a unique rock formation that is a National Monument, Pictograph Caves a archeological site with pictographs painted over 2000 years ago, Chief Plenty Coups State Park, Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, Modern shopping and restaraunts, plus Red Lodge Ski Resort and Yellowstone National Park are both a short drive away.
