Head North down county road 243 to the pipe fenced entryway and cross over the cattle guard into the house pasture. Heading back up the hill to the north, on a well maintained rock drive, you will pass scattered mesquite, cedar, and hackberry trees as you approach the quaint 2/1 ranch house with a metal roof. There you will also notice two water wells under well houses that feed the house, the earthen tank as well as a large stock tank in the cattle pens. As you continue north into the cottonwood creek pasture, you just know “this is where the monster whitetail live”, and you will notice a large variety of cover such as cottonwood, Mesquite, cedar, shinoak, and desert willows as well as diverse terrain along the  winding creek. When you meet up with a very good 6 wire barbed wire fence you will head east through a metal gate into the larger, more open main pasture, where there is the abundance of buffalo, bermuda, grama, bluestem, and rye grasses. From there, you can meander up the hill where you will have a vantage point to enjoy the beautiful country that surrounds you, and hear nothing but quail whistling, and the occasional turkey gobble or coyote howling in the distance. You might just see an arrowhead as you head south along the well maintained road to the pens. These pens have a large water lot that can be utilized by the east pasture and house pasture.
