The East Chidester Forty (#03019–03746) is a +/- 40-acre (per tax record) tract of timberland located in northwestern Ouachita County on the southeast side of Chidester, AR (North 33.686714°, West 93.000367°). The topography consists well-drained rolling hills.  Access is available with an open woodsroad running northeasterly for about a third of a mile from AR-Hwy 24. The entire tract features a merchantable stand of natural pine timber. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the property is based upon Kirvin-Sacul and Sacul-Kirvin soils which give the tract a weighted average site index of 81.8 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50) for the portion rated.
