The wood enclosure holds enough wood for two years of heating. The furnace also runs off propane just in case the homeowner prefers that option or plans on being away on a winter vacation. The attached garage is insulated. The warmth created by the heated wood stove fluid lines running to the furnace provides enough heat in the garage to keep it above freezing. 

Location: Norwegian Hollow Road is sealcoated. The valley is beautiful and serene. It is a 15-minute drive to Viroqua and about a 35-minute drive to the south side of La Crosse. There are nearby trout streams (Norwegian Hollow Creek and the South Fork of the Bad Axe River). Hunting and hiking are in your own backyard.
