NextEra Energy Foundation dedicated $250 thousand toward supporting and restoring the wetland forest at Big River Crossing, a Duck’s Unlimited territory adjacent to the Mississippi River in Memphis, Ark. This initiative will increase water quality, protecting the waterfowl and wildlife that call the wetlands home. Beyond the conservation improvements this partnership brings, the investment allows for an expansion on tourism and outdoor recreation in the natural region that overlooks the downtown skyline.
