lot of the homes being around Bog and Fulton Lakes.
The area is well known for hunting and fishing with plenty
of opportunities for any outside activity that your family enjoys. Easy access
to miles of trails and woods roads to walk, snowmobile, use ATV’s, horses,
snowshoes etc.
With the location being near Machias, you have access that
local shopping, restaurants, the hospital as well as enjoying the nearby ocean
and parks. Roque Bluffs state park offers a long land beach on the ocean side
and a freshwater pond on the other side of the road. There is a nice playground
and picnic area and some trails to hike.
Jasper Beach in Machiasport is another wonderful place to visit. In Machias you can tour Burnham Tavern and
learn about the first battle of the American Revolution and its ties to the
area. It is an area rich in local history and there is a lot of information
available to those who are interested.
