Glendive is located in the Region 7 Block management program which consists of 264 Block Management Areas that provide access to over 2,290,000 acres of private, state, and federal lands. Region 7 produces, an average, 25% of the state's annual mule deer harvest; 10% of the state's white-tailed deer harvest; (17% of the total statewide deer harvest); 35% of the state's annual antelope harvest; and 5% of the states elk harvest.
