The Mitchell Creek Tract, tract #10, is a 15-acre tract located on the east side of Allen Parish, about eight miles south of Oakdale, LA and about eight miles northeast of Oberlin, LA. Access is via timber company road off Russell Manuel Road. Mitchell Creek runs along the west boundary of the tract. Most of the merchantable timber was harvested from this tract circa 2002. It now has a young stand of pine and hardwood timber that is mostly pulpwood but there is some residual mature timber scattered throughout the tract. Neeley Forestry Service, Inc. Directions: From the intersection of LA-10 and LA-372 on the east side of Oakdale, LA, travel south on LA-372 for 9.0 then take a right onto Russell Manuel Road. Travel 1.1 miles along Russell Manuel Road and take a right onto a woods road. Travel westward along the woods road approximately 500 feet and follow the road northward another ¼ mile to the northeast corner of the property.
