The West Shirley Tract (#03019–03692) is a +/- 20-acre parcel of timberland located in northeastern Van Buren County about three miles southwest of Shirley, AR (North 35.622644°, West 92.343124°). The topography consists of well-drained upland rolling hills. The more upland portion was cleared and has allowed to regenerate naturally since 2005 with mostly hardwood. Roughly 6 acres of the property features a creek drain containing more mature mixed pine/hardwood. Access to the northeastern edge of the parcel is available with a dirt woodsroad running southerly from the end of County Road #325 aka “Water Tower DR” for about 150 yards. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the soil composition of the property contains a mixture of Steprock-Mountainburg complex and Enders-Nella-Steprock Complex.
