surrounding the home that is completely surrounded by the 1.5 million acre
Ouachita National Forest. The land is
flat to gently sloping and mostly open pasture with a nice scattering of mature
shade trees that are native to south-eastern Oklahoma including a diverse
variety of oak trees, elm, eastern red cedar and a few native shortleaf pine
trees. There is a well establish
vegetable garden area just East of the home as well as two pear trees, 2 peach
trees and one apple tree. There is partial barb wire fencing around the
property perimeter and pipe rail fencing around the home. This property lies roughly 450 feet away from
the Blackfork River. The soils contained
on the property are deep sandy loam by nature and capable of growing a wide
variety of grasses, vegetables and fruit trees. Wildlife are frequently seen on
the property and surrounding area.
Pond:
There is a large pond located west of the home that is a year round source of
water for local wildlife. This pond is
stocked with fish.
Shop/ATV
Storage/Horse Stalls: Behind the home is a nice
shop that is roughly 18 feet wide x 20 feet long. The shop has concrete paver flooring, an AC
unit, propane wall heater, electrical outlets and lighting. There are doors on each end of the shop.
There is a 9.5 feet x 20 feet shed off the West side of the shop that can be
used for ATV storage. Additionally,
there is a 9.5 feet x 20 feet area off the East side of the shop that has two
horse stalls.
Bunk
House: There is a rustic Bunk House that is located
just West of the Shop Building that can be used for guests. The interior is completely finished out with
eastern red cedar lumber. There are sheds off both sides of the bunk house that
can be used for storage.
Home: There is a nice brick home on the property
that was originally constructed in 1985 according to the LeFlore County
Assessor’s records. The home has 3
