Property Description
Here
is a chance to purchase some land in the Ozark mountains and immediately start
enjoying it. This 45 acre property is only 6.5 miles from the Dillards Ferry
access to the lower Buffalo National River which is renowned for scenic
floats, smallmouth bass fishing, camping, and hiking trails. Less than 20 miles
to the north are the clear waters of Bull Shoals Lake and to the east is
the world class trout fishing waters of the White River. Make this base camp for your Arkansas Ozark
Mountain adventures or make it something more permanent. City water line is at
the beginning of the driveway where it leave state maintained paved highway 14.
The land has a variety of terrain and vegetation. It is mostly hardwoods like
oak but there are some very nice native pine specimens on the nearly flat ridge
top at western side of property. ( I even found an increasingly uncommon Ozark
Chinquapin Tree near the camper.) The camper has one bedroom and has a kitchen
with stove and refrigerator and is a 1993 Dutch camper that has had a permanent
roof built above it. Head 10 miles north and you will be in the town of
Yellville , famous for its Turkey Trot Festival in the fall, and where you will
find doctors offices, restaurants, hardware and lumber yard, schools and
grocery stores and gas stations.
