Location:  This property is located at the base of Poteau Mountain in Southwestern Arkansas in a very remote and secluded wilderness type setting surrounded by miles of privately owned and public timberland. The property is roughly ½ mile from the 1.8 million acre Ouachita National Forest Area which provides direct access to ATV and hiking trails as well as great hunting opportunities for whitetail deer, eastern wild turkey, wild hogs, black bear and numerous other small game species.  This property is just a short drive from several lakes offering great recreational opportunities such as Wister Lake State Park, Cedar Lake, Broken Bow Lake and Sardis Lake.  Fort Smith, Arkansas is a 1 hour drive from the property and Tulsa, Ok is about 2.5 hours away.

Access:  This property has all weather and legal access.  Poteau Mountain Road and Strip Pit Road are the East and part of the South property boundary.  Also a private road is the North property boundary.  

Water:  There is a seasonal stream that flows through the property.  There are several locations on the property where a pond could be constructed for a year round water source.

Land:  There are 141 acres (m/l) of land which is covered with a stand of timber that is native to Southwestern Arkansas being primarily a diverse variety of mast producing oak trees and a scattering of young native shortleaf pine. saw log size native shortleaf pine trees.  The property offers a diverse variety of wildlife habitat ranging from areas where the timber stand has been thinned to more open closed canopy forest areas.  Additionally, the property offers flat to gently sloping terrain. There are several spots on the property that would be ideal for construction of a recreational cabin.  Wildlife are frequently seen on this property.
