Corinth, Maine is a small rural town located in Penobscot County with an approximate population of 2878 people in 2020 Census.  The town covers an area of 35.2 acres with 38% is covered in forest. The town was incorporated in 1811. It was settled in the late 1790’s. Corinth Historical Society was founded in 1985 and is located at 306 Main Street Corinth where they have a museum that has an abundance of Family Histories and biographies with information beginning in 1811 when the town was incorporated. Corinth has a rich history of farming. There are still many fields of potatoes, corn and hay that you will pass on the way to this property. With all of the agriculture, fields and forest it is not uncommon to see turkeys and whitetail deer in this area.
