The area has a good population of mule deer and quail along with great potential for migratory hunting such as dove and occasion crane and geese. TOPOGRAPHY: Farm is flat to gently sloping from west to east, except in areas on the south labor that have moderate slope to playa. Elevation ranges from 3813′ ASL to 3766′ ASL.

IMPROVEMENTS: There are no improvements on this property.

WATER FEATURES: There is a seasonal playa that can from time to time catch water.

FENCING: There is currently no permanent fencing on the property

WILDLIFE, HUNTING AND RECREATION: This area is generally decent for Mule Deer, quail and dove hunting in general. This tract has been put back into production, but it is nestled between several miles of CRP acreage and neighbor to the north has a small patch of irrigated alfalfa, with increased management such as the planting of food plots in strategic locations there is the potential to increase the likelihood of deer transversing the property. The area has seen increased migratory traffic for crane and geese. Playa areas, along with dryland wheat on years that permit, tend to be a draw to these species.

SOIL: Land is predominantly Amarillo fine sandy loam, 0 to1 percent slopes, and Amarillo find sandy loam, 1 to 3 percent slopes, there is a noticeable amount of Randal Clay, 0 to 1 percent slopes, occasionally ponded in a few of the lower lying areas, especially playa located in Southwest corner. Other minor soils which are primarily located in Southwest Labor 16 are Zita Fine Sandy Loam 1 to 3 percent slopes, Berda fine sandy loam 3 to 5 percent slopes, Amarillo fine sandy loam, 3 to 5 percent slopes and Veal fine sandy loam, 1 to 3 percent slopes.
