This rural town has a small grocery store, restaurants, a health clinic and is home to Patten Lumbermen’s Museum. The larger town of Houlton is located about 32 miles east of the property. It has a hospital and chain stores. Houlton is a border town with NB Canada. The city of Bangor is 95 miles south of the land.
