This cute little 16 x 24 Cabin is as hidden in the woods as it can get, without even a driveway, yet only about a half hour drive to the town of Machias for supplies! Wesley has a total population of just over 100 people and this lot has access to public lots on both Otter Lake and Long Lake and direct access to MILES of trails/dirt roads to enjoy 4 wheelers or snowmobiles.

The property is about 70 miles from Bangor, 20 to Machias, 30 to Calais. With the lot being only about a half hour’s drive to the coast and the public beaches at Roque Bluffs State Park and Jaspers Beach in Machiasport it makes those easy to get to for your “Need for the ocean” outings! The area also has great hiking trails at the Bold Coast in Culter, Lubec, and on Beals Island, all being an easy driving distance away.

Wesley was incorporated in 1833 and named for John Wesley who was the founder of the English Methodist Movement. The area was also made famous for its stage stops along Rt 9, the “Airline” or “Wolf Route” and the big hills that have made history over the years with travel in the wintertime. It is an area well known for hunting and fishing, along with that comes the tales and stories of the big game hunters and poachers such as Wilber Day and George Magoon who had books written about their lives hunting the area.
