Description
The Scotland RD North Tract (#03019–03709) is a +/- 10-acre parcel of timberland located in southwestern Union County about two miles northwest of Junction City, AR (North 33.040885°, West 92.761091°). The topography consists of well-drained upland rolling hills. Access to the tract is excellent with “Scotland Road” running along the eastern portion of the tract; additional woodsroad access also runs through the northern portion of the property. Some utilities can be found along these public roads to allow for camp/home site potential within the Junction City School District. The majority of the property was cleared in 2021; about an acre of hardwood/pine timber remains in the western edge of the tract. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the property consists of an assortment of fine sandy loams, which give the tract a weighted average site index of 80.0 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50).
