The Six Mile Creek Tract (#03019-03912) is a +/- 245-acre (per GIS Estimate) tract of timberland located in Vernon Parish about four miles south of Pitkin, LA (North 30.88559°, West 92.8997°). The topography is generally flat with Six Mile Creek running along the eastern side of the property. Roughly 87 acres were planted with Loblolly Pine in 2022; just under 150 acres remain as merchantable hardwood bottomland along SIx Mile Creek. Access to the western side of the property is available with a woodsroad running east from “I Reed Road” for a little over a half-mile. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the property is based upon an assortment of sandy/silt-loam soils which give the land an excellent weighted average site index of 95.3 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50 for the portion rated.
