The Loutre Bayou Tract (#03019–03302) is a ±60 acre tract of timberland located in northwestern Union Parish, about seven miles east of Spearsville, LA (North 32.942865°, West 92.488281°). Bayou D'Loutre, a Louisiana scenic/natural river, runs through the the property. The majority of the property was harvested/cleared during the summer of 2019; only a small portion of timber remains as stream-side buffer zone along Loutre Bayou. According the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the property is based upon predominately luka-Dela complex soil along with Bienville loamy fine sand, which give the property a weighted average site index rating for Loblolly Pine and Water Oak of 99.7 feet (base age 50). While the property does have about 240 feet of road frontage to LA-Hwy 550, a woodsroad lying about 200 yards north of the tract has provided historical access. A survey is available upon request.
