Description
The Pine Prairie Tract (#03019-03423) is a +/- 208 acre tract of timberland lying about 13 miles south of Hermitage, AR in Bradley County. The 65,000-acre Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge lies along the southern half-mile of frontage to the property where more public recreational activites can be enjoyed – such as a public boat launch directly into Pereogeethe lake merely a half-mile away! The majority of the tract was planted in 2015 with loblolly pine. Almost 40 acres remain as a hardwood timbered creek drain in the southern portion of the property. According to the USDA Web Soil Survey, the tract is based upon an assortment of sandy and silt-loams that gives the property a weighted average soil site index of 89.5 feet (base age 50 years) for loblolly pine. Access is excellent with the eastern boundary formed by Pereogeethe Road, a public gravel road. The topography is sloped with creek drains and ridge lines; it lies about a half-mile east of the Ouachita River. This tract provides camp site potential, investment timberland, and recreational opportunities!!
