This is the outback: If you are coming to view this 80 acres, self-sufficiency is as important today as it was for early explorers. Pack necessary water; at least 1 gallon of water per person per day. No surface water can be relied on. Be prepared for changing weather conditions. Daytime temps can reach 100+ and nighttime temps can dip below freezing. Dust storms are common. High clearance 4-wheel drive vehicles with off-road tires recommended (a spare is recommended too). Do not drive on playas (lake beds) when they are wet, you will get stuck. Let someone know where you are going and when you will be back. Make a plan for what they should do if you don’t return on schedule. Be wildlife aware: rattlesnakes, scorpions, mountain lions are in the area.
Price: $10,000.
