The East Urbana Oil Field Tract (#03019–03722) is a +/- 35.5-acre (per Tax Record) tract of timberland located in eastern Union County about 15 miles east of El Dorado, AR near the community of Urbana (North 33.161457°, West 92.400633°). The topography consists of well-drained gently rolling hills. Access is available with an unimproved oil field / logging road running for about 1.2 miles east of Sandy Bend Road. The timber consists of young natural pine as well as about three acres of planted pine that was established over twenty years ago and remains unthinned. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the soils consist of Harleston fine sandy loam and Rosalie-Warnock Complexwhich give the tract a weighted average site index of 85.0 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50).
