Hogan-01 (#03019-004088) is a ±20-acre tract of timberland located in the northwest
part of Ouachita County about four miles north of Chidester, AR and five miles east
of Reader, AR (North 33.7635°, West 93.0142°).  Ouachita Road 75, a paved county road, crosses
the southern part of the property providing excellent access.  Some utilities are available along the road
allowing for camp/home site potential within the Camden-Fairview School
District.  The timber consists of a
mature stand of natural pine that provides immediate income potential.  The well-drained rolling topography along
with sandy loam soils provide excellent wet weather logging conditions.  According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey,
the property has an assortment of sandy loam soils that give the tract a
weighted average soil site index of 82.4 feet for loblolly pine (base age 50
years).
