The Midway North Tract (#03019–03780) is a +/- 80-acre (per tax records) tract of timberland located in western Jefferson County on the border of Grant County about 13 miles northwest of Pine Bluff, AR and 11 miles east of Sheridan, AR (North 34.32895°, West 92.20823°). The topography of the tract is fairly flat to gently sloping downwards torwards the east. Access to the north side of the property is available with a dirt woodsroad running northeasterly for about a half-mile to a gravel timber company road, then another three-quarters of a mile northerly to the south side of Junet Road (contact us about gate). About 74 acres of the tract were planted in approximately early 2012 with Loblolly Pine and has yet to be first-thinned. The remaining 6 acres consist of bottomland hardwood where Derrieusseaux Creek, a perennial stream, runs along the eastern side of the property. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the property is based upon an assortment of sandy-silt loam soils which give the land a weighted average site index of 88.6 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50).
