Wyoming, the ninth largest state by area, is also the least populated state in the United States. Of the roughly 62 million acres of land statewide, more than 29 million (about 46%) of those are owned and administered by federal land management agencies*. Wyoming is ranked 2nd nationally in total percentage of grassland pasture and range land. The pastoral parts of the state take up an overwhelming 74% of the land and are lined with the many mountain ranges of the area. Ranches, farmland and undeveloped land are among the common types of land for sale in Wyoming.
Known for its breathtaking National Parks such as Yellowstone and Grand Teton, Wyoming is beautiful, with land that’s both reminiscent of the wild west and incredibly serene. Check out United Country Real Estate’s listings below to find your ideal land property in Wyoming.
