In its 2020 State Agriculture Overview of Oklahoma, the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service reported there are 68,595 square miles of land – that’s almost 44 million acres – in the state. The state is covered in pastures with native grasses, timberland with mixed hardwoods, and tillable farmland for row crops.
