LOCATION
The property is located on Kirkland Road just 5 miles from the center of Old Town and about 15 miles from Bangor International Airport. Do not let the proximity to town bother you. The size of the acreage and location offer a lot of privacy and a rural feel. Large conservation area of the Perch Pond Forest is located across Kirkland Road from the property. Here you will find hiking and fat tire bike trails in an area forever protected from development.
The City of Old Town has a population of over 7,000. It is the home of Old Town Canoe and the Penobscot River flows through the city. It has a well-run small airport complete with a seaplane base.
